ICE Renewables offers its customers a range of after care services covering planned maintenance, parts and labour warranties and insurances to ensure peace of mind for the life time of the products.   We can offer an operations and maintenance service provided by the manufacture or ICE Renewables as a representative of the manufactures.

For the medium size turbines an all risks insurances policy is recommended.

Vergnet SA Turbines

For flexibility these come with 2 year, 5 year or 7 year Parts & Labour Warranties. Operation & Maintenance includes:

• 1 x Minor Service (6 Monthly) and 1 x Major Service (Annual)
• 24 hour monitoring of turbines via OEM SCADA system including remote resets where applicable
• Provision of a 24 hour response service
• Implementation of, and ongoing management of the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR)

Guaranteed production slot for delivery within 6 month for a Vergnet SA

As the exclusive distributors in Great Britain for the Vergnet SA wind turbines ICE Renewables are pleased to offer a guaranteed production slot for delivery within 6 months from the Vergnet assembly plant in France; by advance payment of a ‘Booking Fee’ which will accelerate the purchasing process.

The booking fee is 50% refundable if you do not achieve a successful planning determination.

The Manufacturer guarantees delivery of the wind turbine within 6 months after the deposit payment date.  Delivery can be as fast as 4 months.

Standard Vergnet lead times are 6 months from date of order following payment of a deposit; however with the continued rapid growth of the global wind industry, lead times are expected to increase as demand for turbines continues to grow.

The UK Wind Turbine Safety Rules will be followed as a basic requirement of all work undertaken on site. The Wind Turbine Safety Rules are a set of guidelines to which ICE Renewables and our  approved sub contractors must adhere to when operating, servicing and maintaining wind farms.   The Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) clearly specify actions and procedures which have to be followed in order that persons working on wind turbines are safeguarded from inherent dangers that exist from the installed electrical and mechanical equipment in wind turbines. The introduction of WTSR provides a single way of managing operational safety and giving owners and wind turbine maintenance service providers a consistent and auditable process across their UK portfolios.

Exclusions:

Response to Faults. In the event of being notified of a malfunction our aim is to attend site within a guaranteed maximum of 24hrs of notification to inspect and diagnose faults. Faults or break-down not attributable to a warranty claim will be charged extra.

No HV operation and maintenance works will be undertaken as part of this contract. This includes but is not limited to switchgear, network transformers, MV/HV cabling earthing or control protection equipment. A separate amount should be budgeted for to cover these items.

Insurance

When your wind turbine has been commissioned we would strongly recommend that you arrange adequate insurance protection.  In the event of physical damage to or breakdown of your wind turbine you would be responsible for any financial outlays in respect of repair or replacement of parts that are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.  Should the repair or replacement be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, the resultant loss of revenue due to the wind turbine not being operational would not be met by the manufacturer.  This, however, can be covered by insurance.

Through our insurance partners, we are able to offer you full operational insurance cover.  Our insurers are the leading independent insurance broker providing specialist insurance advice to the renewable energy industry and individuals throughout the UK.  Their renewable energy team has the experience and technical knowledge to provide you with the necessary insurance protection for your investment.
