This is the capturing and recycling of rainwater. On a commercial level, this is the production of hydro-electricity through the use of water-powered turbines.
WHAT IS THE APPLICATION?
Rainwater plays an essential part in sustainable development, and rainwater recovery is increasingly being included as standard in the design of new buildings. In the UK there is 18 times more rainfall available than the net consumption of the population, which makes it a viable source of renewable energy.
HOW DOES THIS BENEFIT ME?
This application saves you money whilst harnessing natural resources in a sustainable way, and is supported by the Government’s Feed In Tariffs effective from April 2010.
