ICE Renewables provide specialist technical services of the highest quality to ensure you can support your customers through the whole of their project and identify key obstacles at an early stage; this is crucial in preventing the progression of projects which will ultimately be unsuccessful.

You can pick and choose which of the services you require to assist each of your projects.  We will always ensure client confidentiality through the use of non disclosure agreements and most importantly our professional integrity.

Site Review

To provide support when selecting a suitable site for a wind turbine. This is a desk based review of the customer’s physical constraints, access routes, turbulence factors and includes a sense-check with the manufacturer as required.

Grid Connection

To provide an offer letter from the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) confirming that the size of wind turbine being proposed can be connected into the grid and an indication of how much this is likely to cost.

Visuals and Technical Drawing

We will provide you with a ZTV (Zone of Theoretical Visibility) map;a photomontage with photo representation of your project taken from agreed locations and the required technical drawings for a successful planning submission.

Telecommunication Assessment

We will provide you with an accurate plot of microwave links that can constrain the customers site allowing for potential objection mitigation with the link operators.

Wind Speed Monitoring and Energy Generation Predictions

These packages will provide you with accurate wind speed and turbulence data for either customer due diligence or to enable project funding to be sought.  A Virtural Met Mast and Computational Fluid Dynamics package or met mast solution are available.

Financial Modeling

We will provide enough financial information to allow the customer to make an informed decision and support an application for finance. NPV, ROCE, IRR, simple paybacks, etc. using an industry recognized modeling tool.

Project Management Services

To provide access to expert technical support, advice and on the ground project management support to your team or project. This service can be through a retainer or a day rate.

Planning Package

To follow on from the customer’s Feasibility Study.  We can provide a set of supportive studies to supplement a full planning application which we can make on our customers behalf.

Aviation Assessment

To provide the customer with an assessment to ascertain whether or not, and to what level, aviation studies are likely to be required in order to mitigate any potential objections and support a planning application.

Civil Design Services

To produce site specific foundation, access road and earthing designs to facilitate the construction of an ICE Renewables wind turbine.

Electrical Design Services

To produce site specific electrical designs to facilitate the connection of an ICE wind turbine to the customers site and the grid.
