This application uses waste streams, such as slurry or other feedstocks, to produce electricity and heat.
WHAT IS THE APPLICATION?
Anaerobic Digestion (AD) is a series of processes, which produces biogas through the breaking down of bacteria on biodegradable material such as feedstock, in an oxygen-free container. Biogas is passed through a gas engine to produce heat and power. This is applicable to every material, which has a suitable calorific value, such as animal litter, manure, energy crops, organic and sewage sludge, household food waste or a combination of any of the above.
